Meet The Team
The Shop Crew
CJ & Eric handle all of our welding & fabrication needs. Ulises, Maria, & Cosme run our sandblasting machine, handle painting and assist with keeping our products stocked and assist with floater builds. Charlie, our master carpenter, manages and completes our floater builds.
Zeus, our unofficial mascot, takes care of any left over food hanging around the shop.
The Office Crew
Todd manages the fabrication shop and the office, designs parts, decking sales, and runs our plasma table. Sarah & Paula manage the office and customer service, project management, as well as our online orders and social media presence.
Brad is our construction manager and handles installed sales. With over 40 experience in the field, he is a wealth of knowledge for your dock plans and quotes. He keeps the dock crews running
efficiently and accurately

Dock Crew
This team handles renovation, alterations & repairs. They provide high quality work that is built to last.
Deck Crew
They handle re-decking jobs for docks and make sure every detail is perfect.
Service Crew
Hayden is our main service tech for annual service and diagnostic appointments for lifts.
A Word from the Owners
We are proud to call Smith Mountain Lake our home. We truly stand behind the statement that our lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the country.
When we left Iowa and moved here in 2000, we had no idea where this adventure would take us. I (Bill) have had my real estate license since 1997 and planned to continue focusing on that here at the lake. However, after helping my parents with their floating dock repairs, a spark was found. Now, Dock Solutions Inc. is celebrating their 22nd year this fall. We are happy to serve the lake and all it's wonderful residents.
